My oldest girlfriend..wait that came out wrong... My friend that I have had longest and still have regular contact with..thats better..Julie, seen above in a Boxing day photo, got ENGAGED on Valentine's day!!!!

The ring is divine and her man seems normal and all but I have never met him in person. This is very hard on an old friend, to not KNOW the guy. He's a stranger. I know a lot about him from Julie but he is an unknown quantity in reality. What will this mean for our friendship, because her last husband was a big barrier in that respect and it was only after he was gone that I got MY Julie back, in place of the married Stepford Julie that had taken her place. shudder

I trust her judgement this time around though. Even if he is a Baptist.
